A group of six 4th year students: Kimberley Holmes, Kristy Euler, Frances Gall, Megan Whitehair, Angela Pearce, Emily Bishop and a qualified teacher, Alisha Sugden, coming from James Cook University, Australia, arrived at the centre and worked from 7th June to 8th July
Although working in a new environment, these Australian students adapted quickly and worked efficiently. Along with their practical hours, they gave lectures on occupational therapy to the staff of the centre on every Thursday morning and made tools for treating disabled children on occupational therapy
Leaving Vietnam, these guests remain in the centre with beautiful images of Australian young girls who are lovely, professional and enthusiastic with work. And Vietnam ,perhaps, also remains in them with unfading memories of rainy days, long way to work on crowded busses , especially of the visit of the legendary Cu Chi tunnels…
