On December 4th , 2004, Mrs. and Mr. J.P Koop, Financial Manager of HOH and Mrs. Trinh Phuong Lan, Chief of Representative Office of HOH in Vietnam visited the Center
Thanks to the financial support of HOH, the project “ Assistance on Orthopedic Surgery and Provision of Orthotics for Children with Movement Disability in Southern Provinces of Vietnam” has been deployed in 07 Provinces with a good result: Over 300 children with movement disability have been given free treatments and 110 provincial health cadres have been trained on rehabilitation in the last two years.
The Deligation was contented with the result of the project, and wanted to continue cooperating with the Center after reviewing the report and visiting in-patients at the Center.
Basing on the duty and the developmental orientation upto the year 2010 of the Center, the Deligation and the Center’s Director Board unified the main contents of the project “ Assistance on professional research and rehabilitation treatment for poor disabled children in Southern Provinces of Vietnam in 2005 and 2006”. In which, along with the assistance on training and treatment , the project will support the professional research on rehabilitation and medical equipment. At the present, HOH supports 100 millions VND on equiping a monitor used for surgery.
